Top Things Happening This Weekend

We’re back with our roundup of the slickest things that have dropped this week. Whether you’re looking for something listen to or do this weekend or over the next few months we’ve got ya covered!

Le Galaxie, Smithwick Series Cork.

Based in Cork and haven’t yet got plans for the weekend? Then you better get tickets to see Le Galaxie perform their own interpretation of the Apocalypse Now soundtrack in Cyprus Avenue tonight. We’ve seen the show so we know it’s a good one, whether or not you’re familiar with the film. Great tunes in a great venue, you can’t go wrong! Limited tickets are available here:

If you can’t make it to Cork, tickets have just gone on sale for Le Galaxie’s Headline December show on the 8th and are flying out. Get on it here while tickets are still available, last year’s Olympia headline sold out in record time and this show is set to follow suit! Nab them here:

Bitch Falcon, “Of Heart” Presale and Tour.

We’ve been playing it on repeat since we got our paws on it here in the office so we’re thrilled to announce that Bitch Falcon’s latest single “Of Heart” is officially available for pre-order today! It’s a big month for the band as they gear up for the release of the single and their nationwide tour that takes in Cork, Galway and Dublin. Some tickets are still available so make sure you grab them while you can!

Mark McCabe, I’m Feeling It Single Release.

Mark McCabe has just dropped yet another banger with his latest release that sees him collaborate with Sunset Bros. We’re feeling it here at CWB hq, and we know you will too! Just in time for the weekend, we guarantee you’ll have it on repeat all weekend. Listen here:

The Strypes, Japan Tour.

Rock and Roll is well and truly alive in Japan if The Strypes shows are anything to go by. Last night saw them take over Ōsaka and tonight sees the boys Tokyo bound. Personally we’re excited to have them back on home soil for their three shows in Whelans on the 21st and 22nd of December, which includes two regular shows and a matinee on the 21st. Very limited tickets left so don’t leave it too long to get yours, otherwise you may be disappointed!
