2017 In Review: RSAG

2017 got off to a bang for RSAG as he rang in the New Year with an incredible NYE Decks and Drums show in The Set Theatre Kilkenny, and what a show it was. January saw him play First Fortnight Ireland’s mental health festival alongside Niall Donnelly, Cut Once, Sorcha Fox, RSAG, Gerry Potter & Bad Sea at the festivals first “Therapy Session” of First Fortnight 2017 in The Workman’s Club. 


April was an incredibly exciting month for RSAG as it saw the release of his critically acclaimed song “Meet You There”, which was named as one of Nialler9’s songs of the year. Check out the gorge video for the single below with long time collaborator Paul Mahon.

Live RSAG has to be seen to be believed, Often collaborating with visual artist Geppetto, they create mesmerising imagery that accompanies his live drums, percussion and vocals making for a show the will completely envelop you. This year saw him hit all manner of festivals all over the country. Summer time saw him take Barndance Festival, BARE IN THE WOODS, K fest, Carlow Arts Festival, Clonmel Junction festival, Castlepallooza and the Jerry Fish Electric Sideshow Electric picnic before he continued his tour de force around the winter festival scene with appearances at Sounds from a Safe Harbour, Guiness Cork Jazz Fest and Other Voices amongst others.
